Pastel Neon KOTD

Today's KOTD is a fav of mine.. I seen this mani on my favorite stamper of all time Kerrie. I met her through a group on Facebook and I have been so very inspired by her talent. 

 

I am including her original mani and my version of it. I am still paying on my camera so today is only a Iphone pic.. 

I used the Claire's pastel set that I got three sets of last winter after not being able to find the original pastel set with six colours that I have been searching high and low for.. These are as close as I will get..lol. They are still beautiful, bright and almost neon quality. For the stamping I used my new Monster High plate and Sugar Bubbles for the zebra print.

Newspaper Nail Art

Today's mani is my version of the popular newspaper nails. I tried my best but I am not sure if I liked it or not. I tried a long time ago to use actual newspaper and the alcohol but they just would not transfer so I gave up on the idea. Then I seen a post using the Bundle Monster plate BM-311. I decided to try it out for myself. 
I used my new Claire's Pastel pink and peach polishes for my base. I then used grey stamping polish for the BM-311, Pink Eyeko polish for flower on peach base, black Konad stamping polish for flower on pink base, my go to pastel green stamping polish from MyOnline shop purchased from here for the vines at top of each nail. 
I think I will be trying this mani again with different colors to see if I like it better.. 

God I hate it when I am thinking my cuticles are clean and get the pics up here and BAM!!!! What the hell????? Sorry about them not being clean enough.. I guess that is another reason I am not satisfied with this mani.. Please look past it. Thanks

Hello Ladies,

I hope you all had a relaxing day!

I found this awesome mani today here Love4Nails great

tutorial. I wanted to try it out right away.

Mine, did not turn out as good but still I love it.

I had to add my own touch with HK.

I used my new American Apparel neon green, yellow.

Claires Flames and Funky Fingers Punch.

I love watching Love4Nails show how to do lots of awesome manis.

I am not so good at the freehand, thank god for Konad, but I love

it when I can actually do the mani.
